Pamela Fagan Hutchins writes fiction and nonfiction about "having it all” from the position of having a little too much of everything, and loving it: writer, mediocre endurance athlete (triathlon, marathons), wife, mom of an ADHD & Asperger's son, five kids/step-kids, business owner, recovering employment attorney and human resources executive, consultant, and musician.
She is the author of five books with SkipJack Publishing: Hot Flashes And Half Ironmans, How To Screw Up Your Kids, Love Gone Viral, Puppalicious and Beyond, and The Clark Kent Chronicles.
She is also one of the authors of Easy To Love, But Hard To Raise from DRT Press and Prevent Workplace Harassment from the former Prentice Hall.
Pamela has four novels coming out with SkipJack: Saving Grace (Nov. 2012), Leaving Annalise (2013), Missing Harmony (2013), and Going For Kona (2014).
She won Romance in the 2010 Writers' League of Texas Manuscript Competition for Leaving Annalise, and she also won both Mainstream Fiction (2010, 2011 and 2012) and Narrative Non-fiction (2012) in the Houston Writers' Guild's Manuscript Competitions for Missing Harmony (fka Conceding Grace)(novel) and How To Screw Up Your Kids (nonfiction book).
Pamela is well-known for her Type A slightly OCD tendencies — and alphabet soup life — and for making everyone around her tired. She lives with her husband Eric and two high school-aged kids, plus 200 pounds of pets in Houston, but their hearts are still in St. Croix, USVI, along with those of their three oldest offspring.
